We have partnered with two great providers in order to be able to offer weekly hearing clinics in both York and Castleford. Typical services include hearing tests, hearing aid repairs and maintenance as well as microsuction wax removal.
Looking after your hearing as well as your eye sight
Because hearing loss often develops gradually, it can be difficult to spot. Recognising the signs of hearing loss as early as possible can help you to be proactive in seeking treatment.
Signs of hearing loss include:
- Difficulty in following conversations
- Phone conversations are unclear
- People seem to be mumbling
- Difficulty locating sounds
- Signs of tinnitus
- Turning up the TV too loud

We have partnered with Charlwood Hearing Care for a weekly Friday clinic at our Acomb Practice. Neil Charlwood provides hearing tests, hearing aid repairs and microsuction wax removal.
